David Molina Garza
Born in Mexico, David Molina has designed in the fields of theatre, dance, music performance, musical theatre, and corporate special events. In 2016 he was awarded Best Scenic Design by Austin Critics’ Table for UT’s production of The Diary of Anne Frank. His work includes: Les Misérables, The Foreigner, The Imaginary Invalid, Orphans, Treasure Island, and Hamlet (Tecnológico de Monterrey). In the United States, his recent work includes Cenicienta (The ZACH Theatre), Little Women the Musical (UT Theatre and Dance) and The Dialogues of the Carmelites (Buttler School of Music). He has an MFA in Design and Technology with a focus in Scenic Design from The University of Texas at Austin and a BA in Architecture from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
