Design Statement

It's a conversation of time and space. The use of drawers was inspired — and not only because they made for great props. Who among us doesn’t think of memories, both good and bad, boxed up and stored away in the far reaches of the mind?
In Body Platform 2: Persistence of Memory, choreographer Ting-Ting Chang continued her progression of reimagining sculptural movements to express the complex dynamics of time and memory, emphasizing on the impact of creatively fusing visual stimulants with performing arts. Originating from the timeless masterpiece of Salvador Dali, Ting-Ting Chang’s choreography artfully intertwines itself with all these different elements, bringing the audience a performance that they have never experienced before.
