This performance is inspired by William Shakespeare's “A Midsummer Night's Dream". The character represents Peaseblossom, a fairy servant to Titania. Titania is queen of the fairies. She has received a love portion from Puck, a Goodfellow. It is ordered from Oberon, a king of fairies. Titania lavishes on the labour donkey with the help of fairies including Peaseblossom. I have created a performance movement with the image of fairies attracting donkey as favour of Titania.

I wanted to to tell the story, not just with visuals, but also by appealing to the audiences' other senses, like the sense of smell.

Thanks to the collaboration with TOKYO KODO (http://www.tokyo-kodo.com) an incense brand, it makes use of incense that not only fills the performance area, but also helps in the narrative by creating atmosphere. This project is deigned and made with the incense included in the concept. As incense creates smoke and produce the scent of grass. This photo represents the collaboration of perfumed smoke from the incense with dance.

The different qualities of a theatre performance, combined with the other factors like the use of incense, will definitely give the audience a very unique experience each time they experience it.
