Design Statement

The project brings together artists from theater, audio and visual arts for a multidisciplinary show. Thematic research puts the female universe and memory (broken) as axes that articulate the different languages that the work unfolds. The performance tacked on its own texture and aims from building a powerful visual imagination to recreating the intimate world of this woman. The Museum of Contemporary Art was the selected space to exhibit this work, becoming art installation exhibition during the day and set design for evening performances. The scenographic installation is arranged around sewing machines that spin a large network and is the interior architecture of the character through which your family memories are reconstructed. The costumes, lighting and sound reinforce the scenic concept that aims to put the viewer inside the character, and in the chaotic space of her unconscious. The viewer finds clues to complete the story nonverbally.
