Speakers
Hakan Dundar works as the set and costume designer for the State Theaters of Turkey in Ankara. He has designed sets, costume, props, masks, and puppets for over 200 professional performances. His work was in the gallery section of World Stage Design 2005 in Toronto, Canada he was a featured designer in the Turkish exhibit at PQ 2007 and a workshop leader in USITT Conference in Charlotte, NC, USA in 2011.
Ali Meriç currently works as an actor and director with the Antalya State Theatre in Turkey. He teaches traditional Karagoz shadow puppetry in the Akdeniz University Department of Theatre and is a member of UNIMA (The Worldwide Puppetry Organization) and ASSITEJ (International Association of Theatre for Children and Young People).
